Auli is a place in Uttarakhand that is known for hosting the ski championships every year in February. To be precise, this place is a 10-hour drive from Rishikesh. This place not only offers great scenic beauty for visitors but also offers them full enjoyment.
2. Munsiyari
Munsiyari receives snow in December. The snow showers are mostly seen in the last days of December. This place is a 15 hours drive from Delhi and is one of the most famous places for the people near Delhi who love to enjoy the snow. This will even offer a great zeal to all the adventure lovers who want to make the most out of their travel. If we talk about the temperature then during the daytime it is recorded to be approximately 4 degrees Celsius.
3. Manali
Manali is one of the most renowned tourist spots in the snowfall. A large amount of snowfall is occurring at present in Manali. People are visiting this place in large numbers to enjoy themselves. Just 50 Km away from Manali, there is Rohtang pass that is also flocked with a large number of tourists at present. 5. North Sikkim
The entire Sikkim doesn’t encounter snowfall. At present, the northern regions of Sikkim are experiencing snowfall. The temperature at places like Tsomgo Lake, Nathula, Yumthang, and Katao have reached sub-zero levels. North Sikkim is considered a White Winterland and offers a great view for tourists.

I love to visit snow places.they make winters even more special. I haven’t visited any of these places. Hoping to visit atleast a couple of them in the near future.

My kids have been fascinated with snow. We were booking for a Kashmir trip before covid hit. This is a list I have saving for future.
We were planning to visit Auli to celebrate the New Year but were not sure to find snow so cancelled the plan. We have discovered a new place for snow lovers near Kufri in Himachal and it’s snowing heavily here right now.
Being in India and I have not visited any of the places during snow falling as I scared that with road blocks I will be stuck at such places. But shall soon try atleast one wit finding all the possible travelling routes.

Next year I want to visit a skii resort in December when it is covered in snow. Hopefully the Covid situation will be better and we can travel

Watching snowfall is the beautiful thing that one can aspire for. We got to play and see the snow falling from the sky when we were in Shimla.I think you can add Kufri which is in Himachal Pradesh. Snowsports can’t be entertained there but you can play with the snow. Informative post!!

I have never witnessed snowfall in real eyes. I really wanted to visit leh this year but couldn’t go .
Visiting Manali is in October or November as the Rohtang pass is flooded with snow and allows tourist entry too.
