Recipe of spinach and corn sandwich

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup of corn, boiled
- 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves washed and finely chopped
2 tsp WHEAT Flour
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Butter + extra for applying on the bread slices
- 2 tsp Garlic Chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat a pan, add butter, garlic and saute for few minutes until nice aroma comes out.
- Now add boiled corn and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Add chopped spinach and Cook the spinach in high flame till the water totally evaporates .
- Now remove this mixture and kept it separate bowl.
- Now in same pan add some butter , Wheat flour and mix well. Sauté it for 2 minutes.
- Slowly start Adding milk. Cook on slow flame until it becomes thick, keep stirring to avoid forming lumps .
- When the sauce turns very thick, add spinach-corn along with salt and pepper. Mix it well and switch off the flame
- Apply butter on the bread slices, place the filling in between the bread and grill or toast until crispy. Spinach corn sandwich is ready to serve
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
