  • 1  Cup Jowar Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Soft Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup jaggery powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 /4 cup coconut powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essense
  • 1.5 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • Chopped Almonds or Almond Flakes for Garnish Optional

Instructions

1)To start, preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2)In a mixing bowl, whisk the butter with blender to make it soft

3) Add jaggery powder and combine well until it becomes light and fluffy. add vanilla essense to this .

3)Now, sift in the jowar flour and baking powder, salt , cardomom powder ,coconut powder and mix well. Add any additional ingredients you desire and mix them in.

4)If the dough feels too dry, you can add a bit of milk to make it more pliable.

5) Place the dough in cling wrap and refrigerate for 15 mins.

5)Take out the dough from refrigerator . Scoop out small portions of the dough and roll them into small balls.

6)Place them on the baking tray and flatten them with a fork.

7)Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

8)Let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
